It’s not just the number on the pump, is it?

It’s that little moment where you glance at the price… do the maths… and adjust the plan.

We know this feeling. Most of us grew up with it in one form or another. And if there’s one thing South Africans are good at, it’s adapting quickly, making a plan, and carrying on.

Yes, the numbers are shifting again.

The latest Ofgem price cap for a typical dual-fuel household is Β£1,641 for April to June, which is down from the previous quarter β€” a small bit of breathing room where we’ll take it.

At the same time, the RAC reported this week that average UK fuel prices are sitting around 157.71p per litre for unleaded and 190.62p for diesel, with some uncertainty still in the mix.

So yes… things are moving.

But here’s the thing, this isn’t new territory for us, and we just make a plan.

So, this week, we’re keeping it simple: a few practical ways to take the edge off, a few small wins that add up, and a reminder that you’re not the only one noticing it.
